UP to Be More Entrepreneur Friendly.
Uttar Pradesh is going to be more entrepreneur friendly state. The UP government has directed its secretaries to resolve issues raised by entrepreneurs on priority and within fifteen days of the complaint. Chief Secretary, Alok Ranjan directed the Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of various departments to ensure resolution of issues raised in the Friday’s state-level Udyog Bandhu Committee meet.
The Chief Secretary went so far as to warn the officials present at the meet against any laxity with regard to solutions for entrepreneurs.“Regular monitoring would be done to ensure redressal of problems within the specified time,” he said.
He headed the meet on Friday with a mission to address to the problems faced by industrialists and their immediate solutions.
Of the 22 pending issues related to different departments were taken up and solved in the meeting, whereas, directions have been issued to resolve the remaining issues within 15 days, the official added.
The chief secretary said that under the UP’s Food Processing policy, government order related to relief from Mandi fee to Ramway Foods of Aligarh should be issued within next 15 days.
Similarly, excise department was directed to convene a meeting under the chairmanship of Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC) within a fortnight to decide the issue of exemption to manufacturer, exporters of denatured spirit from purchase fee on direct purchase and sale.
The issue was raised by Indian Chemical Council.
Referring to drainage system in industrial areas and estates, Ranjan directed UP State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (UPSIDC) and Directorate of Industries to submit a proposal for a comprehensive policy in this concern within a month.
